For CBA Bowling team captain Luke Krebs, the senior is continuously proving why he is the team's leader, turning in sensational performances over the seven match win streak.

Krebs has delivered an impressive line of scores - 206, 192, 168, 212, and 213 - showing off his skill on the lanes and his ability to bounce back from tougher games.

Since a loss on January 7, the Colts have won their past seven matches through January 27.

“I know the rest of my teammates are showing up and giving it their all so it drives me to be better," Krebs explains, noting that his leadership goes beyond the scoreboard.

To him, the team-first mentality helps improve his game knowing his teammates are there to pick him up too.

Bowling goes beyond the skill at the lanes, as the sport has a big mental aspect to it.

“Consistency is definitely the hardest part about bowling, but after a bad throw, you just got to be a gold fish and forget about it," he says.

Krebs's last five performances prove his consistency as he averaged a score of 198.2 across the games. His leadership, confidence and team-first attitude led him to these astonishing performances.

As the season moves forward, Krebs and his teammates look to keep the positive games alive. They will bowl in the Monmouth County Championship on January 29, before the Shore Conference Championship on February 6.

Of course, the CBA captain is ready to lead his team to a new heights one game at a time.
