Over sixty Track and Cross Country alumni gathered on Saturday, July 16th, to say thank you and congratulations to their high school coach, Tom Heath. A fixture of Academy lore and New Jersey high school running, Heath announced his retirement from coaching this past school year. Under his guidance, the CBA Cross Country team won 26 state championships, 21 Meet of Champions titles, 15 Eastern Regional wins, and a Nike National Championship in 2011 as well as three Penn Relay national distance medley titles.
