The varsity sailing team has enjoyed a great start to the fall campaign.
The Colts won the first two regattas of the new season, taking the top spot at September 11's Sailfest Trophy Regatta and September 19's Fall Classic Regatta.
CBA won the Sailfest Regatta for the fourth time in program history, with the last coming back in 2016. The Sailfest Trophy is one of the oldest perpetual regattas in New Jersey high school sailing and CBA is now tied for the most victories.
Senior Colin Guerrera and junior Nicholas Cuhna finished tops in the B Division, winning four of their seven races. Senior Ryan Ehnot and sophomore Mitchell Hnatt were second in the A Division. The Colts never finished out of the top five in any of the 14 races.
At the Fall Classic, Christian Brothers battled tough light wind conditions to outlast the 15-team fleet.
Junior Noah Kuzloski and Cuhna won the B Division, while junior Bryce Vitiello and Hnatt were third in the A Division.
CBA will now look ahead to the BBYRA Invitational on September 25, followed by the Fall League Championship on October 3.
