SOUNDBITES FROM THE STUDENT-ATHLETES

“The past four years at CBA have set me up for a very successful academic and athletic career at PSU. CBA has taught me how to work hard, push myself, and focus even on the little things whether that be in the classroom or on the track.” – Chris DeSousa, Penn State University Cross Country & Track

“While I have had many great experiences at CBA, something that has been really impactful to me is how invested the teachers are in my success as a student. CBA challenged me both academically and athletically and that was something I was looking for.” – Sam Nini, Davidson College Wrestling

“Members of both CBA’s teaching and coaching staff have challenged me both mentally and physically day in and day out. Through these challenges, I adopted a hard-working attitude, which is a necessity to find success at the university level.” – Jason Asare, University of Chicago Track & Field

“CBA has taught me how to persevere under pressure and how to properly manage an athletic and academic schedule. I believe that these skills, along with other educational experiences, will help me be successful during my next four years in college. ” – John Morreale, Stevens Institute of Technology Fencing

“From the first day at CBA, I gave myself goals and very high expectations. I told myself I was not going to leave this school until I reached all of my goals. I can proudly say that all the goals I made for myself, I reached, and the bar that I set for myself in terms of what I expected myself to do, I raised.” – Adrian Foley, Columbia University Crew
