The CBA indoor track & field team continued its run of conference championships over the weekend.
The Colts captured their 10th straight Shore Conference title on Friday night in Toms River. It was a dominant performance from CBA, winning the event by 39 points over second place Toms River North.
Christian Brothers won four events during the championship to propel them to their 25th all-time conference win.
Individually, senior Liam O'Hara won both the 400 meter dash and the 55 meter hurdles to continue his strong season. Senior Eros Bottino was the winner in the shot put, one of his signature throwing events.
CBA also won the 400 meter relay with a foursome of Ethan Ferraiola, Will Seijas, Jason Asare and O'Hara.
The Colts finished in the top-three in the 400 meter dash, 1600 meter run and 3200 meter run.
The conference title comes a week after CBA won its 11th consecutive and 29th all-time Monmouth County Championship.
Just prior to that, the Colts were crowned state relay champions for the sixth time in a row and 29th time overall. In that meet, CBA earned 80 of the possible 90 points by winning five events and finishing top-three in four more.
The Colts will now participate in a few invitational events before the state championship meet on February 28th.
