CBA Track & Field has a long history of success at the historic Penn Relays.

On April 26, the Colts added to that legacy with their fourth Distance Medley Relay title, earning the famous Penn Relays wheel.

Jack Falkowski, Ethan Fianko, Conor Clifford and Joe Barrett brought home another Penn Relays wheel with a school record time of 10:01.47. It is CBA’s fourth High School Championship of America win in the DMR.

“Penn Relays is always that meet on the schedule that we are looking forward to, and winning a wheel is one of our the biggest goals of each season," Falkowski told NJ.com after the meet. "We’re super happy and just a really good feeling.”

Clifford ran a fast third leg of the relay at 1:55.48, allowing Barrett to run his anchor leg with some breathing room. Barrett proceeded to run an impressive anchor at 4:12.33 to win the race for CBA.

"I’ve been waiting for this wheel for three years now," Barrett said in his NJ.com interview. "I was going to give it all I had even if it hurt, and luckily, he didn’t catch me, so I’m more than happy.”

The 2024 victory follows Penn Relays DMR wins in 1985, 1988 and 2011.
