Christian Brothers Academy Soccer will meet Seton Hall Prep on Sunday night in the Non-Public A State Championship. The contest will be held at Kean University, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the university for $5/adult.


The Colts advanced to the championship by beating St. Augustine Prep, 5-0, in the Non-Public A South Sectional Final on Thursday night. The Pirates of SHP downed Delbarton in penalty kicks to win the Non-Public A North Sectional.

This is the second consecutive year that CBA has advanced to the state championship at Kean University, and the first time under head coach Tom Mulligan. Christian Brothers has won the soccer state championship five times before in 1992, 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2011, all under legendary head coach Dan Keane's watch.
