For a sixth consecutive year, Christian Brothers Academy Golf took home the NJSIAA Non-Public South Sectional Championship.
The Colts topped the leaderboard by 25 strokes over second place Camden Catholic on May 8, led by a nice performance by sophomore Jack O'Connor.
O'Connor was the Non-Public A South individual winner, edging Pingry School’s Eshaan Goichha by one stroke. He was one-over-par on the 72-stroke Mountain View Course in Ewing.
CBA shot a 313 as a team and was the overall leader between the Non-Public A and B sections, which was played at the same time.
Junior Jack Puma finished tied for eighth, while junior Evan Sorensen was tied for 10th.
The sectional title advanced CBA to the NJSIAA State Championships, where the Colts finished third in Non-Public A and seventh overall.
On the season, CBA went 9-1 in dual match play.
