Even in windy conditions, Christian Brothers Academy Golf played an impressive day at the NJSIAA State Sectional Tournament in Ewing.

Led by Ethan Lee's individual title, the Colts won the sectional championship by 13 strokes over second place St. Augustine.

Lee recovered from a difficult front nine holes to dominant the back nine, shooting a three-under-par in those final nine holes. Overall, he shot a one-over-par 73 to win the individual tournament by two strokes.

As a team, Christian Brothers shot a 318, which topped St. Augustine's 331. The Colts were 28 shots ahead over third place Donovan Catholic.

Sophomore Evan Sorensen finished fifth overall by shooting an 81. Senior Brian Mastrorilli and freshman Jonathan Raccuglia were just behind, shooting an 82 and tying for sixth.

The 2022 sectional title is the fifth consecutive win for the Colts, which comes two weeks after CBA won an eighth straight Shore Conference Championship.
