On Saturday, September 17th, Christian Brothers Academy Soccer will be starting a new tradition: the Keane Cup.
The first annual Keane Cup, named after legendary former head coach Dan Keane, will be an alumni soccer game, followed by a family BBQ for all those in attendance. Festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. and all alumni players will receive a commemorative Keane Cup Nike t-shirt as a token of CBA's appreciation for participating. Best of all, Coach Keane will be joining his former players to provide priceless encouragement from his old spot on the sidelines.
CBA Soccer alums can choose to play in the Keane Cup game or simply join fellow soccer alums on the bench. After the Keane Cup and BBQ, the Colts varsity team will be hosting in-state rival Don Bosco at 1 p.m., which is one of the most anticipated matchups on the season.
