Four Christian Brothers Academy Hockey players were honored by the Gordon Conference on Tuesday for their outstanding play in the 2015-16 season.



Senior Ryan Bogan, Jr. was selected as one of two defensemen on the All-Gordon first team. The CBA captain netted eight goals and added 24 assists during regular season play.



Junior Derek Contessa was chosen as one of three forwards on the All-Gordon first team. In his breakout season, Contessa scored 12 goals and tallied 18 assists.



Seniors Chris Hayes and Joe Marsicano were selected as All-Gordon honorable mention players as well.



CBA now turns their attention to defending their state championship, as the Colts have been the state's best team for two consecutive seasons.



The Colts finished the regular season 19-4 overall, 12-0 in the Shore Conference and 7-4 in the ultra-competitive Gordon Conference. CBA earned the third seed in the Gordon Cup Playoffs, matching up against St. Peter's Prep on Wednesday afternoon at Jersey Shore Arena.
