After championship seasons from both CBA Soccer and Cross Country, the individual accolades were sure to follow, and they arrived in bunches.

While NJ.com released their All-State and Shore Conference teams last month with multiple Colts on the roster, the Asbury Park Press released their All-Shore teams this week with five Colts making the cut.

Cross Country

Blaise Ferro | Senior | All-Shore Runner of the Year & First Team Selection

Ferro was the undisputed leader of the 2015 cross country team. Although he missed a chunk of the season with an injury, Ferro returned in time for championship season and did not disappoint. He won the individual NJSIAA Non-Public State Championship, finished second at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions and was also the runner-up at the Nike Northeast Regional. Ferro also was the highest CBA finisher at the Nike Cross Nationals.

Ferro was also named NJ.com's Shore Conference Runner of the Year.

Brian Dengler | Senior | First Team Selection

Dengler was consistently one of the top finishers for CBA XC this season. He was the runner-up at the Shore Conference Championship meet and was fifth in the Non-Public State Championship. Dengler was apart of both CBA teams that went to the Northeast Regionals and Nike Nationals.

Soccer

Matt Thorsheim | Junior | First Team Selection

Thorsheim finished the 2015 season with 18 goals and 30 assists, with six goals and nine assists coming in postseason play. He was the clutch goal scorer for the Colts, especially in the postseason which included the game-winner over St. Augustine in the state playoffs. Thorsheim also led the Shore Conference in assists.

Thorsheim was named NJ.com's Shore Conference Player of the Year & All-State First Team member, as well as a NSCAA All-American.

Ryan Nigro | Junior | First Team Selection

CBA's midfielder was great on both sides of the ball, being a defensive presence against big opponents and scoring important goals. Nigro was the star of the Shore Conference Championship game, scoring the deciding goal in the second half to give CBA its first SCT plaque since 2011.

Nigro was named to NJ.com's All-State Third Team.

Scott Misson | Junior | First Team Selection

Misson was a breakout defensive stalwart for CBA in 2015. While the Colts always used a total team effort, Misson anchored a defensive unit that recorded 14 shutouts in 24 games played, including a shut-out in the SCT Final against Ocean Township.
