2015 was a year of state championships for CBA Athletics. And while they all don't count for one school year, it's definitely worth looking back on the state titles that the Colts won since January 2015. We hope that 2016 can be just as successful!

February 2015

SWIMMING: The Colts won their sixth consecutive state championship over St. Augustine at the College of New Jersey. CBA won by nearly 40 points and it was their seventh state title in school history. "This team was challenged all year," head coach Vito Chiaravalloti said. "A lot of people thought we were going to come down a notch, but our guys showed a lot of resilience fighting through every day and not letting anything get in their way. I'm very proud of them." INDOOR TRACK: The CBA Indoor Track team won their 88th state championship in February, led by then-juniors Blaise Ferro and Mike Zupko. The team went onto win the Meet of Championship as well, before taking their talents to the New Balance Nationals last March.

March 2015

HOCKEY: The Colts erased a three-goal deficit to defeat Delbarton 4-3 in overtime to win the state championship at the Prudential Center in Newark. CBA's Derek Contessa netted the tying score with just under three minutes remaining in the third period, while Dean DiFazio won the game for the Colts in overtime. While CBA was co-champions in 2014 with Morristown-Beard, this was their first outright title since 2005. Read more from NJ.com.

April 2015

CREW: The crew team won the Varsity 4 state championship in coach Scott Belford's final season with the team that he molded over the past decade.

May 2015

SAILING: The CBA Sailing team won their first-ever state championship by 23 points over second place Rumson-Fair Haven at Shrewsbury Sailing and Yacht Club. Then-sophomores Joe LaForgia and Chris Magno won the A-Division, while seniors Trevor Koerwer and Kyle Lavin won the B-Division.

June 2015

BASEBALL: The CBA Baseball team was a nationally ranked squad in 2015. The Colts won their division title, the Monmouth County title and the Shore Conference Championship, before completing the rare "quadruple crown" by winning the state championship 7-0 over previously unbeaten Don Bosco. October 2015

RUGBY: The rugby team won their first-ever U16 7's state championship, defeating St. Augustine in the first year of the tournament.
